morags body

As i promised i took more photos of "morag", and her body parts, close up of motifs and imagery and colour work. the images are photo copies tinted with watercolours under glass, and the dream catcher is made from clay, there are clay roses dotted around her too

this a bulls skull with pretty flowers, its connected to my macleod crest which is a bulls head, flowers because that represents my nana

"hold fast" is the macleod motto, so totally appropriate to have it next to my heart

this is the full back of morag, with a dream catcher positioned  to fill the space, as dreams create our back bone in life

"start of the sea" is what morag means, i just think its so beautiful

i choose the turquoise and pinks as they are 2 of my favourite colours at the moment, the softness of them and represents the 2 sides of people

somrtimes you don't realise just how much time has passed.... and this was the case this morning, i suddenly realised how long has it been since i uploaded anything to my blog.... answer agesssssss, very naughty me, i guess you just get to caught up with other things and the passage of time becomes even greater. so i'm going to be really good and start posting again, for who's pleasure i've no idea, mine mainly i think hahahahahah

so the above piece of work was from my exhibtion last year (september 2019) titled "my wild imagination" shes called morag, and shes a mosaiced torso with separate mosaiced wings, everything is made from re-cycled items as always and is a celebration of freedom and taking life in your own direction, i'll take some close up photos of the details for you to see more
